Carquinyoli is a traditional delicacy of Catalan culture, very exquisite.
Very popular from Sant Quintí de Mediona, the Carquinyoli is a sweet cookie made of almonds, sugar, eggs, cinnamon, vanilla and a subtle lemon zest.
The dough is rolled into a rectangular shape before baking and once baked it is cut into small diagonal slices. At this point they are baked again so that they are very crispy.
Carquinyoli is an ideal addition to desserts. A most delicious sweet perfect to accompany some coffees. Its crunchy texture turns this delicacy into a real whim. Very good profit to all!
